Type RU94 7-bay Restaurant Car
Designed by Piotr Furahtine
Built in 1994 by RSR Works, Bevice-Akohniçe, Ruhnia

The RSR was well aware of passengers' desire to eat and drink en route. Shown here is the dining car "Boca Raton". Its modern features include air-conditioning, free-standing tables and chairs, separate ladies' rooms and push-button and voice-recognition controls for the outside doors (the latter caused much trouble - and amusement - at first by responding to station announcements and other extraneous sounds). The interior decor was classical 1930s Art Déco in pastel colours with silver trim. Each car carried the name of an American city. Trains normally included one dining car but when twelve-coach formations were introduced, there were often two, spaced along the train.
