3-Cylinder General Purpose Locomotive
Class 433CC
Designed by Frihdrik Tešlov
Rebuilt
in 1939 by RSR Works, Bevice-Akohniçe, Ruhnia
The
fitting of tapered boilers to the 433Cs was as much of a disappointment
as it was with the 344D. Above the footplate the appearance of the two
classes remained virtually identical, as did the problems they shared
below it. The rear bogies still refused to follow the track and the
ashpans still needed raking and digging out twice a day. Like
their cousins, the 344D and
344DD 4-6-4s, the 433Cs and 433CCs were only really brought up to
scratch by the rebuilds of 1950.
